In early 1994, Callaway Cars decided to enter a heavily modified Corvette in the world renown Le Mans 24 Hour race.
Naturally, the vehicle needed radically modified bodywork to cater to the specific needs of an endurance racing car… good aerodynamics, large fixed headlights, sufficient air intakes… plus it had to look great.
The Callaway LM, with Deutschman-designed bodywork, not only earned pole position at Le Mans but it went on to win numerous prestigious international races in the 1994 season and the World Challenge Championship in 1996.
